VARIOUS — Time For Vinyl Vol. 2

Various – Time For Vinyl Vol. 2 opens the TIME FOR VINYL series with a 12-inch vinyl that stitches together tech house polish and the bright sheen of italo house. Catalogued as TIME1440LP and slated for an October 9 2026 release, the compilation gathers six extended cuts that balance club-ready momentum with a nod to classic dancefloor motifs. Within the TIME FOR VINYL catalogue this record arrives alongside a cluster of sibling volumes released on the same day: Vol. 3 (TIME1445LP), Vol. 4 (TIME1450LP), Vol. 5 (TIME1455LP), Vol. 6 (TIME1460LP), Vol. 7 (TIME1465LP), Vol. 8 (TIME1470LP), Vol. 9 (TIME1475LP) and Vol. 10 (TIME1480LP). The simultaneous drop underscores the label’s ambition to offer a broad snapshot of contemporary tech-house and italo-house production, each volume acting as a curated slice of the current underground palette. Side A begins with “Deadly Sins – We Are Going On Down (Gone With The Wind Mix)” (5:52). The track rolls out a steady four-on-the-floor pulse that invites seamless mixing, while its title suggests a breezy, forward-moving vibe that sits comfortably after a warm-up set. “Aladino – Brothers In The Space (Grunge Happy Mix)” (5:28) follows, maintaining the groove but injecting a slightly more playful edge, its title evoking a cosmic camaraderie that can lift the energy of a late-afternoon slot. The side closes with “Alex Gaudino Feat. Crystal Waters – Destination Calabria (Original Extended Mix)” (6:55), a familiar anthem re-imagined for vinyl; its extended structure provides DJs with ample room for creative layering and a recognizable hook that can bridge between peak-time moments and more melodic passages. Side B opens with “Molella & Phil Jay Present: Heaven 17 Meets Fast Eddie – With This Ring Let Me Go (Extended Mix)” (5:16). The collaboration hints at a retro-futurist feel, its title suggesting a blend of nostalgia and forward motion that works well as a transition from deeper grooves to brighter peaks. “Love Connection – The Bomb (Triple X Club Mix)” (5:27) arrives next, delivering a punchy rhythm that can serve as a set-breaker or a high-energy filler, its explosive title matching the track’s kinetic drive. The record concludes with “Datura – Will Be One (Todo En Todos Extended)” (5:26), a closing piece that unifies the set’s thematic thread, offering a rounded, slightly reflective finish that can ease a set back into a more chilled atmosphere. For collectors and DJs, Vol. 2 offers a versatile toolkit. The inclusion of a classic anthem alongside fresh productions makes it a useful reference point for both nostalgic re-works and contemporary club narratives. Its sequencing—three tracks per side, each with sufficient length for mixing—caters to DJs who value extended versions for layering and transition work. Vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate the series’ cohesive aesthetic, with each volume presenting a curated snapshot of the label’s current soundscape. The release arrives as a standard 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of the other volumes in the series. Its straightforward pressing aligns with the label’s focus on delivering high-quality, DJ-friendly records without extraneous embellishments. In summary, Various – Time For Vinyl Vol. 2, TIME1440LP, on TIME FOR VINYL, is a 12-inch vinyl compilation of six extended tracks that blend tech house precision with italo house brightness, offering both DJs and collectors a functional and stylistically coherent addition to any dance-floor arsenal.
