VARIOUS — Magnifik Ade Sampler

Various – Magnifik Ade Sampler Magnifik’s “Magnifik Ade Sampler” (catalogue MMV03) arrives as a 12-inch vinyl that distills the label’s deep house, tribal and tech house aesthetic into a concise six-track showcase. Curated for ADE 2026, the record gathers the label’s founding duo Samm and Ajna with a roster of current key artists, offering a snapshot of the sound that has defined the imprint’s recent output. The sampler’s A-side opens with “Samm – Imagination”, a track that sets a moody, groove-laden tone, inviting the listener into a deep-house landscape that feels both introspective and dance-floor ready. It is followed by “Ajna & Samm – Attract”, which builds on that foundation with a slightly more propulsive rhythm, creating a seamless transition that maintains momentum while introducing subtle tribal accents. The third cut, “Ajna & Abrahamblue – You Make Me Fall In Love”, adds a melodic lift, its title suggesting an emotive thread that gently lifts the set’s energy before the record flips. Side B begins with “Juno (DE) – Last Dance”, a piece that leans into tech-house precision, delivering a crisp, driving pulse suitable for late-night peaks. “Hotlap – Sunbeam” follows, offering a brighter, sun-kissed vibe that balances the previous intensity with a breezier, uplifting feel. The sampler closes with “UVITA, Osfur & The Scripture – Permission To Move”, a collaborative finale that weaves tribal rhythms into a hypnotic groove, providing a rhythmic resolution that encourages movement and ties the collection together. Within the broader context of Magnifik’s catalogue, this sampler functions as a curated statement of the label’s current direction, highlighting the synergy between its founders and the emerging voices they champion. It reflects a cohesive aesthetic that bridges deep, melodic house with the kinetic energy of tech and tribal influences, positioning the release as a relevant touchpoint for the contemporary underground scene. For DJs, the record offers a versatile toolkit: the opening tracks supply deep, atmospheric layers ideal for warm-up sets, while the mid-section delivers tighter, more driving beats that can be layered into peak moments. The B-side provides both a tech-house edge and a rhythmic, tribal climax, making the sampler adaptable for varied set structures, from intimate club rooms to larger festival stages. The release is pressed on 12-inch vinyl, matching the format preferred by collectors who value the tactile and sonic qualities of analog playback. Its six tracks are sequenced to flow naturally from one side to the other, ensuring a coherent listening experience that rewards both crate digging and live performance.
