G.E.N.E. — Ghost In The Strobe

This is the second release from the Washington, D.C.-based label featuring G.E.N.E. Following the debut Mayonaka Jam EP, it has taken two years to craft a follow-up that reflects an organic evolution in both style and production. The release features five carefully constructed tracks, blending classic house sensibilities, '90s boogie, and raw techno energy with modern recording techniques. The result is a fresh perspective on groove-driven dance music-rooted in the past, but firmly looking forward.
