ETERNAL LOVE, & CARAVAN — Heat Motel

Eternal Love & Caravan – Heat Motel opens the CWPT017 12-inch vinyl as a collaborative single that unites two of the most distinct voices in today’s underground. Issued on CWPT, the imprint of Palms Trax, the record arrives on 10 December 2026 and sits comfortably at the crossroads of disco, Italo house and acid house, promising a dancefloor-ready experience from the first spin. Within the CWPT catalogue, Heat Motel follows a string of releases that have cemented the label’s reputation for forward-thinking club music. Earlier in 2026 the imprint delivered Splash’s “Eye For An Eye / Lipelis Remixes” (CWPT014), while 2025 saw DJ Subaru’s “Dog” (CWPT013) and Acopia’s “Be Enough/Holding On” (CWPT011RV) and Luca Dell’orso’s “Actors” (CWPT012) shape the label’s aesthetic. The new entry continues this trajectory, adding a collaborative edge that expands CWPT’s palette beyond its recent solo productions. Side A presents the “Original Mix”, a track born from a joint studio session in Sydney last December. Eternal Love’s Italo-rooted sensibility, already evident on the breakthrough RITOMENTO EP (Second Circle, SC024, 2026), meets Caravan’s balearic, acid-tinged approach, resulting in a house-driven cut built around insistent vocals and a rolling low end. The arrangement is calibrated for peak-time impact, with a rhythmic thrust that channels the duo’s shared instinct for atmosphere and groove. The mix balances the melodic sheen of Italo house with the kinetic energy of acid-inflected lines, delivering a forward momentum that should sit comfortably in the latter part of a set when the crowd is primed for a surge. Flipping to Side B, the “Caravan Mix” hands the reins to Caravan for a solo reinterpretation that stretches the original into a trippier, sunrise-session territory. This version expands the structure, allowing the track to breathe into a wilder, more expressive form suited to after-hours moments. The remix leans into the acid-house lineage, offering a more exploratory vibe while retaining the core vocal hook that ties it back to the A-side. The extended length and altered dynamics give DJs a tool for transitioning from peak intensity to a more hypnotic, late-night ambience. In the context of Eternal Love’s output, Heat Motel builds on the rhythmic and atmospheric foundations laid by the RITOMENTO EP, while also echoing the melodic focus of “L’AMORE E’” (Groovin Recordings, GR-N11, 2024). The collaboration showcases an evolution toward a more dancefloor-centric sound, integrating Caravan’s acid-inflected perspective without abandoning the Italo house heritage that defines Eternal Love’s earlier work. Within CWPT’s evolving catalogue, the release adds a collaborative dimension that complements the label’s solo ventures and reinforces its commitment to genre-blending club music. For DJs, the record offers two distinct tools. The Original Mix delivers a crisp, vocal-laden groove ideal for peak-time slots where energy and immediacy are paramount. Its tight arrangement makes it a reliable choice for building momentum in a set. The Caravan Mix, with its elongated structure and more experimental edge, provides a bridge into the early morning hours, allowing a DJ to guide the crowd toward a more introspective, yet still danceable, atmosphere. Collectors will appreciate the seamless melding of two producers’ aesthetics on a single 12-inch, a format that preserves the analog warmth essential to the record’s disco and acid-house lineage. The release arrives as a 12-inch vinyl, the format that best accommodates the extended mixes and the nuanced dynamics of both sides. Its physical presence underscores the tactile experience valued by vinyl enthusiasts, while the pressing respects the label’s tradition of delivering high-quality club records.
