REAGAN RULER — Limited Cuts Vol.2

Reagan Ruler – Limited Cuts Vol.2 arrives on Limited Cuts as catalogue LC002, a 12-inch vinyl that continues the producer’s deep-house explorations. Issued on 4 December 2026, the record offers a concise five-track journey that balances warm melodic motifs with the understated groove that has become a hallmark of the artist’s output. While Limited Cuts has no other releases listed for comparison, Reagan Ruler’s recent discography provides a useful frame. Earlier in 2026 the duo delivered “The House Clique” on Send Noods (SN001) and the “Limited Cuts 001 (Vinyl Only)” on Mister Bear Records (MBE001), both 12-inch statements that refined a smooth, club-ready aesthetic. The 2025 “Trouble Man EP” on Nutria Sounds (NUTRIA003) also showcased a penchant for deep-house textures, setting the stage for the current release. Side A opens with “Baby”, a track that immediately establishes a laid-back tempo, its title suggesting a tender, intimate vibe that sits comfortably at the start of a set. The follow-up, “Let Me Be Close”, sustains the mood while introducing a subtle shift in rhythm that keeps the momentum moving without breaking the overall cohesion. Side B expands the palette. “Leave it Smokin” brings a slightly more insistent pulse, offering DJs a point of transition toward a deeper groove. Its companion, “Keep it Smokin”, mirrors that energy, reinforcing the thematic continuity of the B-side. The record closes with “Love is All Around”, a final cut that eases the listener back into a relaxed atmosphere, making it suitable for winding down a set or for a late-night moment of reflection. Within Reagan Ruler’s catalogue, Limited Cuts Vol.2 reinforces the artist’s consistent focus on deep-house grooves that are both dancefloor-ready and suitable for personal listening. The record sits alongside earlier releases that have refined a smooth, melodic approach, adding another layer to the evolving soundscape the producer has been shaping across several labels. For DJs, the EP offers a versatile set of tools: the opening pair on side A work well for early-set warm-ups, while the B-side tracks provide a subtle build in intensity that can be layered into mid-set peaks. The closing “Love is All Around” serves as a gentle reset, useful for transitions into more atmospheric moments or for concluding a set on a mellow note. Collectors will appreciate the continuity of the deep-house aesthetic and the clear link to the artist’s recent vinyl output. The release is pressed as a standard 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of the artist’s previous 12-inch records and delivering the tactile experience expected by vinyl enthusiasts.
