ZCELLI FOREVER — Lost In This Moment

Zcelli Forever – Lost In This Moment appears on Acker Records as catalogue ACKER099, a 12-inch vinyl that navigates deep house grooves and break-inflected rhythms. The record’s title promises a moment-caught feeling, and the music delivers a blend of serpentine synth lines and a soulful vocal that keeps the body swaying from the first bar. While Acker Records’ wider catalogue remains undocumented, the release draws on Zcelli Forever’s recent output on Any Second Now Music, where the artist issued the Home EP, Together Never Lonely Vol. One, The Sun and The Rainfall LP and the earlier ALMA REJ vinyl. Those projects established a penchant for melodic depth and globe-spanning dancefloor narratives, a sensibility that resurfaces here in a more focused, club-ready context. Side A opens with “Lost In This Moment (Extended)” (7:56). The track builds a hypnotic groove that balances deep house pulse with a subtle break-beat sway, allowing DJs to layer it under warm, melodic layers without losing momentum. It segues into “Chase The Sun (Extended)” (6:22), a nod to the producer’s past collaborations. The piece retains the same flowing drive while introducing a brighter, sun-lit texture that lifts the set’s energy just enough to transition toward the B-side. On the flip side, “Lost In This Moment (Dennis Reich Remix – Extended)” (8:07) reinterprets the original’s structure with a playful, club-oriented groove. Reich’s touch adds a tighter rhythmic emphasis, preserving the warm melodic core while injecting a more pronounced percussive thrust that works well for peak-time moments. The side closes with “Lost In This Moment (Instrumental)” (7:56), stripping back the vocal to foreground the underlying synth motifs and rhythmic foundation, giving DJs a versatile tool for blending or extending the track’s vibe. Within Zcelli Forever’s recent discography, this release consolidates the artist’s evolution from the expansive LP format of The Sun and The Rainfall to the more concise, dancefloor-focused statements found on the Any Second Now Music EPs. The inclusion of a remix by Dennis Reich underscores a collaborative spirit that has long been part of the producer’s global touring history, offering an additional angle for selectors seeking both familiarity and fresh momentum. For DJs, the record offers a clear narrative arc: the extended original sets a deep, emotive tone; “Chase The Sun” lifts the mood; the Reich remix supplies a high-energy peak; and the instrumental provides a clean canvas for creative mixing. Collectors will appreciate the continuity of Zcelli Forever’s vinyl output and the way this 12-inch captures a moment of refined, dancefloor-ready production. The release is pressed as a 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of the artist’s recent records and presenting the four tracks in a sequence that supports both club play and home listening.
