About Release

Unknown – Bohrium White 003 is the third vinyl-only release in Bohrium Records’ mysterious Bohrium White series, issued as catalogue number BHRW003 in December 2025. Pressed as a limited edition of just 300 hand-stamped 12-inch records, the release contains four previously unidentified productions built around deep, minimal and hypnotic house music, with a closing remix by Romanian producer Mihai Pol. The identity of the original artist remains deliberately undisclosed, following the concept of the Bohrium White series, where the music is presented without artist biographies, artwork or conventional promotional information. Bohrium White 003 continues one of the most distinctive concepts in the Bohrium Records catalogue. The Madrid-based label describes its physical releases as 12-inch, 180g and vinyl-only, while the White series takes the idea of anonymity even further. Instead of promoting a known artist name, Bohrium leaves the record intentionally blank and allows the music itself to provide the identity. Trommel Music notes that the series is dedicated to releases from incognito producers, with previous editions involving artists such as Lukea, Techu, Dorothy’s Dream and Barac. BHRW003 therefore belongs to a continuing tradition in which the artist information is secondary to the grooves pressed into the vinyl. The opening track, “Untitled 01”, establishes the atmosphere of the record through a floaty and deeply atmospheric approach to minimal house. Trommel describes the track as being built around grooves nestled beneath warm harmonies that gradually evolve and glisten as the drums develop. The production is deliberately understated, allowing the relationship between rhythm, harmony and space to become the central focus. “Untitled 01” is an effective introduction to Bohrium White 003 because it immediately communicates the record’s emphasis on subtle progression. Rather than relying on dramatic arrangement changes, the track develops through the gradual interaction of its rhythmic and harmonic elements. The warm tonal character gives it an after-hours quality, while the underlying groove keeps the production firmly connected to the dancefloor. At 125 BPM, according to the retail listing, it occupies a comfortable position within a minimal or deep-house DJ set. A2, “Untitled 02”, maintains the deep character of the opening track but introduces a more pronounced low-frequency movement. Trommel highlights a pedal bass that provides a distinctive bump each time it returns, while sublime melodies and ethereal samples move around the central groove. This combination creates one of the more immediately memorable moments on the record without compromising the restrained aesthetic that defines the Bohrium White series. The use of the pedal bass is particularly important to the track’s rhythmic identity. Instead of making the bassline the dominant element, the production uses its recurring movement as a structural anchor around which the melodic and atmospheric details can circulate. The result is a deep-house groove with enough personality for close listening but enough space to function effectively in a long DJ blend. “Untitled 02” is listed at approximately 126 BPM, placing it naturally alongside the other tracks on the record. The B-side begins with “Untitled 03”, which takes the release into its most expansive and emotive territory. Here, the anonymous producer develops the atmospheric qualities already present on the A-side through a more pronounced piano progression. Trommel describes the piano as gliding through a range of extraterrestrial synthesis, while percussion and bass notes remain tightly controlled underneath. Delays occupy the spaces between the principal elements, giving the track a spacious and carefully sculpted sound field. “Untitled 03” demonstrates the strongest melodic dimension of Bohrium White 003. The piano provides a recognizable musical centre, while the surrounding synthesis and delayed textures prevent the production from becoming conventional or overly melodic. The contrast between the emotional progression and the disciplined rhythm section gives the track a distinctly late-night character. At 123 BPM, it is also the slowest original production on the record, reinforcing its deeper and more spacious position within the sequence. The final track, “Untitled 03 (Mihai Pol Remix)”, gives the B-side a different interpretation of the same musical material. Mihai Pol, one of the most respected producers associated with contemporary Romanian minimal and deep house, approaches the original with a characteristically spacious and groove-focused production style. Trommel describes the remix as a deep, ethereal reworking that reimagines the motifs and energy of the original while introducing a more robust rhythmic foundation. Mihai Pol’s remix does not attempt to erase the identity of “Untitled 03”. Instead, it retains the atmospheric and melodic core while changing its rhythmic weight. The groove becomes hypnotic almost immediately, with additional sonic details floating above a consistent drum framework. This gives the remix a more direct DJ functionality while preserving the spacious qualities that make the original distinctive. At 127 BPM, it is also the fastest track on BHRW003, making it a natural closing tool for a set that has gradually increased its rhythmic intensity. The pairing of “Untitled 03” and the Mihai Pol remix is one of the strongest structural decisions on the record. The original explores piano, atmospheric synthesis, delays and tightly controlled percussion, while Pol transforms the same musical material into a more driving and hypnotic interpretation. The two versions therefore demonstrate how the same melodic and harmonic ideas can operate at different levels of dancefloor intensity. Bohrium White 003 also stands out because of the deliberately minimal presentation surrounding the record. Retail descriptions state explicitly: no description, no artwork, only hand-stamped wax with four fresh tunes. The edition is limited to 300 copies and was distributed by Vinyl Future. The label’s decision to remove conventional artist information is not an omission but a central part of the White series concept. The record asks DJs and collectors to judge the release through the music itself rather than through an established artist name or recognizable visual identity. The release received early support from a notable group of DJs and producers including Gescu, Priku, Crihan, Traumer and Tania Vulcano, among others. That early support is particularly relevant for a release built around anonymity: without a recognizable artist identity to drive attention, the music itself had to establish its reputation within the minimal-house community. Feeder’s premiere of “Untitled 01” and Trommel’s premiere of the Mihai Pol remix further positioned BHRW003 within the international underground minimal scene before and around its release. The record’s anonymous character also creates an interesting collector dimension. Unlike a conventional artist EP, Bohrium White 003 cannot be approached through an established discography. There is no publicly confirmed artist biography to compare with previous releases, and the track titles remain deliberately generic. The catalogue number BHRW003, the Bohrium Records imprint and the physical characteristics of the pressing become the principal identifiers. This makes the record part of a collector culture in which limited vinyl editions, anonymous productions and early DJ support can be as important as the name printed on the centre label. From a DJ perspective, Bohrium White 003 is particularly suited to minimal house, deep house and hypnotic underground sets. The BPM range of approximately 123–127 allows the four tracks to work together naturally, while the progression from warm harmonies and floaty grooves to deeper bass movement, piano-led atmospheres and Mihai Pol’s more driving remix creates useful variation across both sides. “Untitled 01” works as a spacious after-hours opener, “Untitled 02” adds a stronger bass-led pulse, “Untitled 03” moves deeper into melodic and atmospheric territory, and the Mihai Pol remix provides the most pronounced rhythmic finish. None of the tracks depends on an obvious vocal hook or conventional song structure; instead, their appeal comes from groove, texture, harmonic movement and gradual development. For collectors of contemporary minimal house vinyl, Bohrium White 003 is a particularly intriguing release because it combines anonymity, scarcity and a strong underground pedigree. The hand-stamped presentation, 300-copy pressing, vinyl-only format and intentionally undisclosed artist identity all reinforce the concept behind the Bohrium White series. At the same time, the involvement of Mihai Pol and the early support from established minimal-house selectors give BHRW003 a clear position within the wider scene. Unknown – Bohrium White 003 is ultimately a record built around the idea that the music should speak before the artist does. Across “Untitled 01”, “Untitled 02”, “Untitled 03” and “Untitled 03 (Mihai Pol Remix)”, BHRW003 moves through warm harmonies, deep bass movement, ethereal samples, piano progression, spacious synthesis, delayed textures and hypnotic grooves. As the third Bohrium White release, a limited 300-copy hand-stamped 12-inch and a strictly vinyl-only edition, it captures the label’s commitment to anonymous underground music while offering DJs four carefully constructed tools for deep and minimal house sets.
