FLASH, THE WOMACKS — Kaskadeur09 (lim.vinyl Only)

Flash & the Womacks – Kaskadeur09 (lim.Vinyl Only) arrives on Kaskadeur Records as catalogue KR09, a 12-inch vinyl dedicated to deep-house edits. Issued on 11 December 2026, the record presents two fresh cuts that continue the label’s focus on concise, groove-centric productions. Kaskadeur Records has built a modest but consistent catalogue since its early output, with KR03 “From Edit 2 Edit” by Kaskadeur 03 released in 2023 preceding this issue. KR09 follows that precedent, reinforcing the imprint’s commitment to limited, vinyl-only releases that cater to DJs seeking immediacy and tactile control. Side A opens with “JMIX 1”, a deep-house edit that leans into the label’s signature smooth swing. Its structure provides a steady pulse that can serve as a warm-up or a bridge between more melodic moments. The second cut, “JMIX 2”, picks up the momentum, offering a slightly tighter groove that feels like a natural continuation of the first track, allowing a DJ to sustain energy without breaking the flow. Within the limited output of Flash & the Womacks, this release adds a pair of edits that showcase their ability to distill deep-house aesthetics into compact, DJ-friendly forms. While the duo’s broader discography remains undocumented here, the two tracks on KR09 demonstrate a clear intent to provide functional, dancefloor-ready material that fits seamlessly into late-night sets or more intimate lounge environments. From a collector’s perspective, the record’s vinyl-only status and limited nature make it a purposeful addition to any deep-house crate. The 12-inch format ensures ample groove space for optimal playback, and the concise two-track layout encourages repeated spins, a quality prized by DJs who value both sound quality and practical set-building tools. The physical package is a 12-inch vinyl, presented without additional embellishments beyond the “Vinyl Only” and “Limited” markings noted by the label. Its straightforward presentation aligns with the label’s aesthetic of focusing on the music rather than peripheral packaging.
