About Release
Adriatique – Nude Remixes is the 30th release on Afterlife (catalogue AL030), issued as a 12-inch vinyl and presented as a 2026 repress. A year after the duo’s debut LP “Nude”, the label has gathered a selection of seven remixes, four of which appear on this vinyl, to reinterpret the album’s contemplative deep-house foundations for the dancefloor.
Within Afterlife’s recent output, AL030 follows the earlier releases of Agents Of Time’s “The Mirage EP” (AL062), Patrice Bäumel’s “The Hatchet” (AL013) and Fideles’ “Impressum” (AL008), all from 2026. The label continues its tradition of pairing emotive melodic content with club-ready production, and “Nude Remixes” extends that narrative by inviting some of the label’s most recognised curators to reshape Adriatique’s material.
Side A opens with the Tale Of Us & Mathame remix of “Mystery”. Their version stretches the original’s blissful tones and Jono McCleery’s vocal line into a euphoric peak, delivering a sweeping progression that suits a late-night peak-time moment. The second track, Solomun’s take on the title piece “Nude”, injects an electro-tinged edge while preserving the vocal’s ethereal quality, offering a darker, more driving texture that can bridge from deeper moments to a more kinetic groove.
Side B begins with Kobosil’s remix of “Tachykardia”. Here the serene voice of Delhia De France is set against a warehouse-ready kick, tightening the rhythm and adding a gritty, percussive thrust that makes it a solid choice for a mid-set build. The final cut, Rampa’s remix of “Nude”, re-imagines the track with a sleek, tech-inflected approach, delivering a crisp, forward-moving rhythm that closes the vinyl with a forward-looking, club-oriented finish.
In the context of Adriatique’s catalogue, this remix EP revisits the melodic depth of “Nude” through the lenses of prominent Afterlife collaborators, reinforcing the duo’s reputation for producing material that translates well into varied club contexts. For the label, AL030 sits among a series of releases that balance emotive storytelling with dancefloor potency, echoing the aesthetic of the earlier “Skywalking EP” by Mathame (AL024 BLACK) and the “New World LP” by Argy (AL090LP).
From a DJ’s perspective, the record offers a versatile toolkit: the Tale Of Us & Mathame cut works as an uplifting opener or climax, Solomun’s remix provides a darker, groove-focused transition, Kobosil’s “Tachykardia” supplies a tight, percussive thrust for peak moments, and Rampa’s “Nude” delivers a clean, tech-house finish that can lead into deeper or more energetic tracks. Collectors will appreciate the cohesive curation and the way each remix respects the original’s melodic core while expanding its club potential.
The release is pressed on 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of the original “Nude” LP and the label’s recent output. The repress maintains the same catalogue identifier (AL030) and continues Afterlife’s commitment to high-quality analog presentations.
