VINCE WATSON — Introspection II EP

Vince Watson – Introspection II EP arrives on Everysoul Audio as catalog ESOL032V, a 12-inch vinyl that continues the Scottish-born, Amsterdam-based producer’s deep-cut Detroit techno trajectory. The release drops on 6 November 2026 and serves as a preview for the forthcoming 30-year retrospective VW30 Introspection II compilation, spotlighting Watson’s enduring dancefloor focus. Within Everysoul Audio’s 2026 output, Introspection II EP follows the earlier ESOL027 “Eminesence – The Mixes”, ESOL030 “The Awakening / Flashback” and ESOL026 “Eminesence”, all showcasing Watson’s consistent output on the label this year. The new EP therefore sits alongside a string of recent vinyl statements that underline the label’s commitment to forward-looking Detroit-inspired techno. Side A opens with “The Force”, described by the label as a monster of a track that builds on Watson’s Detroit heritage while injecting his signature high-energy dancefloor drive. Its big baselines and E-dancer shades make it a clear centerpiece, poised to command the floor in peak-time moments. The B-side offers two cuts that have previously only existed on the Via LP. “Bon Voyage” follows, delivering a mood that bridges the EP’s kinetic opener with a more contemplative vibe, while “Towards The Light” closes the record, extending the vinyl-only material into a subtle, forward-moving groove that complements the preceding track. For Watson, this EP marks a milestone in a career that spans three decades of underground house and techno. The new “The Force” sits alongside earlier Everysoul releases such as “Eminesence” (ESOL026) and “The Awakening / Flashback” (ESOL030), reinforcing a catalogue that has repeatedly merged Detroit-rooted motifs with contemporary club energy. Within the label’s 2026 roster, the EP reinforces Everysoul Audio’s focus on deep, driving techno while offering fresh material that feels both retrospective and forward-looking. From a DJ’s perspective, “The Force” is built for peak-time impact, its muscular bass and driving momentum making it suitable for the climax of a set. “Bon Voyage” and “Towards The Light” provide smoother, more atmospheric options for transitions or late-night moments, giving selectors a range of tonal shifts without leaving the record’s cohesive aesthetic. Collectors will appreciate the inclusion of the two Via LP tracks in a vinyl-only format, granting physical access to material previously limited to digital or CD releases. The record is issued as a 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of Watson’s recent Everysoul releases. Its straightforward pressing aligns with the label’s aesthetic of delivering pure, analogue techno experiences.
