Titled after the Aries constellation, the record continues the series’ concept of delivering four exclusive productions that capture the deep, soulful groove that has defined the imprint since its inception. The release is positioned alongside the earlier “It’s Safe To Say” (BOND12085) and the later “Pick Up The Phone” (BOND12086), while sharing its release day with the companion “Ursus” EP (BOND12084-1) and the limited box set that compiles the whole constellation cycle. Side A opens with Alexander Matchak’s “Journey”. The track’s title suggests a forward-moving narrative, and its placement after the opening cut sets a tone of subtle propulsion that dovetails with the second side-A entry, Andre Kronert’s “Blue Drift”.
