VARIOUS — 12 Inch Lovers 14 (2x12")

Various – 12 INCH LOVERS 14 opens the 541 Label release 5411210 as a two-record 12-inch set that distills fifteen years of the label’s vinyl-only party ethos into a tech house and trance-house sampler. The collection arrives on 6 November 2026 and gathers nine full-length cuts that bridge classic dancefloor moments with fresh reinterpretations, making it a compelling snapshot of the scene’s current taste. Within the 541 Label catalogue, 12 INCH LOVERS 14 follows the twin samplers 13 (catalogue 5411209, released the same day) and sits after a string of earlier sampler volumes – 12 INCH LOVERS 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 – as well as the AMNESIA 50 YEARS set (catalogue 5411207). This continuity underlines the series’ role as a regular touchstone for DJs seeking both familiar anthems and hidden gems, while each volume maintains its own identity through the chosen tracklist. Side A begins with Jon Cutler feat. E-Man – “It’s Yours (NiCe7 Remix)”. The remix preserves the vocal hook while injecting a punchy house groove that immediately sets a forward-moving tone. A2, Sterac Electronics – “Destination Reached”, follows with a tight, funk-inflected rhythm that sustains the momentum and showcases Steve Rachmad’s electronic-funk sensibility. Side B continues the dancefloor drive. Swen Weber – “Maya (Rerub)” delivers a powerful club vibe, its build and driving rhythm keeping energy high. B2, Deep Dish feat. Stevie Nicks – “Dreams”, reimagines the iconic vocal within a warm, immersive house framework, offering a familiar moment with a distinct club character. Side C opens with Kölsch feat. Troels Abrahamsen – “All That Matters”, a melodic composition where the vocal and gradual build intertwine, suitable for deep night sets or early-morning festival moments. C2, Chew Fu feat. Steve Clisby – “Purple Rain (Mousse T.’s Home A Lone Mix)” turns the Prince classic into a soulful house groove, leaving ample space for the vocal to breathe. Side D concludes the sampler with a varied palette. Jürgen Paape – “We Love” brings a playful, melodic flavor that contrasts with the preceding tracks. D2, Decoy & Roy – “Inner Life” offers a nostalgic nod to Belgian club classics, reinforcing the series’ roots. The final cut, The Mackenzie – “Higher In The Sky (Original Mix)”, lifts the set with dreamy melodies and uplifting energy, providing a fitting closure. In the context of the 12 INCH LOVERS series, this four-sided compilation reinforces the label’s commitment to curating tracks that have both historical weight and contemporary relevance. By juxtaposing revered vocal house moments with fresh remixes and newer productions, the release reflects the evolving taste of underground dance floors while honouring the series’ legacy. For DJs, the record supplies ready-to-mix staples: the NiCe7 remix of “It’s Yours” works as a strong opener, “Destination Reached” and “Maya” serve as reliable peak-time tools, while “Dreams” and “All That Matters” offer deeper, mood-setting options. Collectors will appreciate the breadth of the selection, from classic vocal house to modern melodic tech house, all presented in full-length form. The package is a 2 × 12-inch vinyl set, matching the series’ established format. The pressing follows the label’s standard specifications, delivering the nine tracks in their complete versions.
