VALERIO VAUDANO — The Sampling Theory Pt. 1

Valerio Vaudano – The Sampling Theory Pt. 1 opens the Chiwax release CHIWAX048, a 12-inch deep house record that arrives on 5 October 2026. The EP continues the label’s focus on forward-moving dancefloor music, delivering high-energy house in a compact two-part format. Within the Chiwax catalogue, The Sampling Theory Pt. 1 lands alongside the same-day Boo Williams Now And Forever EP (CHIWAX049) and follows a string of releases that include Boo Williams LOST OF TIME 2x12″ (CCE047 / CCE047G) and Jasper James WAX TRAX VOL. 1 (CWX04.2). The sequencing of these titles underscores Chiwax’s commitment to fresh, groove-centric productions that push the deep house aesthetic forward. Side A opens with “K 4 Kimchi”, a track that immediately sets a kinetic tone, its title suggesting a playful, punchy vibe that fuels the set’s momentum. It is followed by “It Excites Me”, which sustains the driving pulse while introducing a slightly more melodic contour, creating a natural bridge to the B-side. On side B, “I Luv Ya” offers a smoother, yet still propulsive atmosphere, its positioning after the A-side’s energy providing a subtle shift that keeps the flow engaging. The record closes with “Deep Sense Of”, a final cut that deepens the mood, allowing the groove to settle into a hypnotic groove suitable for late-night transitions. Valerio Vaudano’s recent output includes the Lose My Mind EP on 803 Crystalgrooves (803CG-CC007, 2025), which established a reputation for crisp production and emotive deep house. The Sampling Theory Pt. 1 builds on that foundation, presenting a refined take on house that balances rhythmic intensity with melodic nuance, fitting comfortably within Vaudano’s evolving catalogue. In the broader context of Chiwax’s 2026 output, the EP contributes to a year marked by diverse deep house statements, from Boo Williams’ expansive “LOST OF TIME” to Cabin Luv Affair’s “Bien suave EP”. Vaudano’s contribution adds a distinct, high-energy flavour that complements the label’s eclectic yet cohesive direction. For DJs, the record offers two clear entry points: the A-side’s “K 4 Kimchi” and “It Excites Me” work as powerful openers or peak-time lifts, while the B-side’s “I Luv Ya” and “Deep Sense Of” provide smoother, groove-oriented moments ideal for winding down a set or building tension in a deeper hour. Collectors will appreciate the concise four-track format that showcases Vaudano’s production craft without filler, making it a focused addition to any deep house vinyl library. The release is pressed as a standard 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of Vaudano’s earlier EP and the surrounding Chiwax titles, ensuring compatibility with typical turntable setups and preserving the tactile experience valued by vinyl enthusiasts.
