UNIIQU3 — Mass Appeal

UNIIQU3 – Mass Appeal opens the Local Action catalogue with LOCLP032, a 12-inch vinyl that arrives as the debut album from one of dance music’s most recognisable voices. Arriving on 4 December 2026, the record gathers a globe-spanning roster of collaborators while keeping UNIIQU3’s distinctive vocal imprint at its core, positioning the album as a statement of both personal evolution and international club culture. Within Local Action’s recent output, Mass Appeal follows the earlier releases Hodge’s “Big Splash” (LOCLP029) and the “Wiggler / Trust” remix package (LOC089), both issued earlier in 2026. Those records cemented the label’s reputation for forward-thinking dance cuts, and UNIIQU3’s album extends that trajectory by pairing the label’s underground sensibility with high-profile production talent. Side A opens with “Red Eye (Intro)”, a brief entry point that sets a soaring tone before “Airplane Mode” lifts the momentum into a more kinetic space. The third track, “Mile High Club”, continues the aerial theme with a groove that feels built for late-night peaks, while “Calling My Name (feat. Leonce & Cakes Da Killa)” introduces a vocal-driven hook that bridges the album’s club roots and its pop-leaning aspirations. “Kiss Me (feat. BÉBE YANA)” follows, offering a smooth, melodic turn that eases the listener back toward the record’s rhythmic centre. Side B begins with “Believe”, a track that re-establishes the dancefloor drive after the A-side’s vocal focus. “Papi (feat. Swick & Spank Rock)” injects a gritty, cross-continental energy, reflecting the US club lineage highlighted in the album’s press notes. “Jet Fuel (feat. Tshegue & Sam Binga)” adds a further international flavour, while “Jersey Baile (feat. Leo Justi)” nods to UNIIQU3’s Jersey Club origins with a rhythm that feels both familiar and freshly contextualised. The record closes with “Raving All Night Long (feat. Samurai Breaks)”, a final burst that consolidates the album’s dance-floor intent and leaves space for the next set. Mass Appeal arrives at a pivotal moment in UNIIQU3’s trajectory. After a decade of club-focused releases, high-profile collaborations and mainstream breakthroughs—including a Grammy-long-listed Jersey Club track and a co-writing credit on a platinum-selling pop hit—the album consolidates those achievements into a cohesive statement. Within Local Action’s catalogue, it stands as a bridge between the label’s underground releases and a broader, globally minded dance agenda. For DJs, the record offers a versatile toolkit: the A-side provides vocal-centric cuts suitable for peak-time moments, while the B-side supplies deeper, rhythm-focused tracks that can be layered into longer mixes. Collectors will appreciate the seamless integration of diverse producers—from Samurai Breaks to Spank Rock—each contributing a distinct flavour without diluting UNIIQU3’s signature sound. The 12-inch vinyl presents the full ten-track sequence in a format that respects the album’s intended flow, allowing the listener to experience the journey from “Red Eye (Intro)” to “Raving All Night Long” as a continuous set.
