S.O.N. (SUBLEE RMX) — Skip Audio 013 - Simple Life EP

S.O.N. (Sublee RMX) – SKIP AUDIO 013 - SIMPLE LIFE EP arrives on Skip Audio as catalogue SK013, a 12-inch vinyl that navigates the border between minimal house and tech house. The release gathers three original productions from S.O.N. and a Sublee reinterpretation, all built for extended, hypnotic sets and the discerning selector who favours vinyl-only offerings. Within Skip Audio’s recent output, SK013 follows the collaborative “DubTape – Techu – Paolo Driver – Fraxa” (SK012, 2026) and the “Dungeon EP” by Chris Llopis & Cirkel Square (SK011, 2025), while the label’s earlier outings include Loopdeville’s “Celestial Quest EP” (SK010, 2025) and Enzo Leep’s “Milkyway Riders” (SKIPAUDIO008, 2023). Positioned after these releases, the Simple Life EP continues the label’s focus on deep, groove-driven tracks that reward long-form listening. Side A opens with “SIMPLE LIFE”, a track that settles into a steady, hypnotic rhythm, its rolling bassline providing a subtle thrust that encourages seamless mixing into or out of adjacent minimal selections. The second cut on the side, “SIMPLE LIFE (SUBLEE REMIX)”, sees Romanian producer Sublee reshape the original into a more spacious, elegant journey; the remix stretches the groove, allowing the track to breathe while retaining the core pulse that makes it suitable for peak-time tech house moments. Side B begins with “THIS IS NOT TIME FOR CAUTION”, a composition that leans into darker textures, its driving rhythm creating a sense of urgency that can heighten tension on the dancefloor. The record closes with “SEE YOU TOMORROW”, a track that eases the set back into a smoother, more reflective mood, its immersive atmosphere offering a perfect wind-down for late-night sessions. For DJs, the EP provides a compact toolkit: the original “SIMPLE LIFE” works as a solid foundation for deep-house blends, the Sublee remix adds a refined, longer-form option for building momentum, while the B-side cuts supply darker, more kinetic moments and a mellow outro. Collectors will appreciate the cohesive sequencing that balances hypnotic continuity with distinct tonal shifts, making the vinyl a useful addition to any minimal or tech house crate. The record is pressed as a 12-inch vinyl, reflecting Skip Audio’s commitment to vinyl-only releases and ensuring the analog warmth that the label’s audience expects. S.O.N.
