Sir Spyro – 2ND SQ Sir Spyro returns to DEEP MEDi MUSIK with 2ND SQ, a four-track 12-inch that brings together grime pressure, heavyweight dubstep and the raw energy of UK bass. Released as MEDi145, the EP marks the artist's return to the label ten years after his influential Deep Medi release Topper Top and arrives as part of DEEP MEDi's 20th-anniversary year. The title track, 2ND SQ, immediately establishes the record's physical character. Stuttering hi-hats cut through a dense low-end foundation while an icy, industrial-sounding snare gives the production a hard-edged rhythmic centre.
