PURPLE DISCO MACHINE — At The Disko / Don’t Stop

Purple Disco Machine – At The Disko / Don’t Stop SWEAT IT OUT releases SWEATSV031 as a 12-inch vinyl that revisits two of the producer’s most effective dancefloor anthems. Both tracks arrive in extended mix form, a format that lets the groove breathe and the momentum build, positioning the record squarely in the disco-infused, nu-rave terrain that the label has cultivated. Within the SWEAT IT OUT catalogue, this release follows a string of forward-looking dance records. Earlier in the label’s timeline, the Solace LP by RÜFÜS DU Sol (SWEATSV039 NOCOVER) and Metroplane’s Be Where I Am (SWEATSV068) have already demonstrated the imprint’s commitment to polished, club-ready productions. At the same time, Purple Disco Machine’s own upcoming titles – Disco Cherry (SWEATSV063) and Soulmatic Limited Edition (SWEATSV056) – will continue to expand the label’s disco-centric narrative later in 2026. Side A opens with “At The Disko (Extended Mix)”. The extended treatment preserves the track’s signature hook while stretching the arrangement, giving DJs room to layer in mixes or extend the peak. Its structure encourages a gradual rise, making it a reliable choice for building energy in the early part of a set. On the flip, “Don’t Stop (Extended Mix)” mirrors the same philosophy, delivering a relentless groove that sustains momentum. The two extended mixes sit comfortably together, each reinforcing the other’s drive and providing a seamless transition for back-to-back play. In the broader context of Purple Disco Machine’s output, these mixes sit alongside recent releases such as the Body Funk EP (CLUBSWE006V, 2025) and the Soulmatic Remixes (SWEATSV003, 2025), which also explore extended, dancefloor-focused formats. While the earlier releases explored different facets of disco and house, the current pair leans into the high-energy, floor-filling side that has become a hallmark of the artist’s recent work. For DJs, the record offers two ready-made weapons for peak-time moments. The extended lengths grant flexibility for looping and layering, while the consistent tempo and polished production ensure they sit well with other contemporary disco and dance tracks. Collectors will appreciate the continuity it provides within the SWEAT IT OUT line and the way it bridges the artist’s past EPs with forthcoming full-length projects. The 12-inch vinyl format preserves the analog warmth that complements Purple Disco Machine’s disco aesthetic, delivering the extended mixes with the fidelity expected from a dedicated dance release. The pressing adheres to the label’s standard specifications, presenting the tracks in a straightforward, high-quality package.
