LARRY LATENIGHT — The Spiral

Larry Latenight – The Spiral Latenight Recordings issues its latest 12-inch entry, catalogue LLW002, on striking blue vinyl. The release continues the label’s focus on ultra-hyped, hi-tech house, a territory already defined by earlier output such as LR002 from the same artist. With a single, title-track offering, the record distills the label’s aesthetic into a concise, floor-ready statement. Within Latenight Recordings’ catalogue, The Spiral follows the earlier LR002, also by Larry Latenight, which arrived earlier in 2026. That prior EP established a template of crisp production and club-oriented momentum, and LLW002 builds on that foundation while introducing a fresh colour scheme that signals a limited edition approach. Side A opens with “The Spiral”, a track that lives up to its name by winding through a hypnotic groove that evolves subtly across its runtime. The arrangement balances tension and release, providing DJs with a flexible tool for both peak-time peaks and more measured, late-night transitions. Its structure encourages looping and layering, making it suitable for building momentum or for injecting a sleek, futuristic vibe into a set. From a broader perspective, The Spiral sits comfortably alongside the label’s recent output, reinforcing Latenight Recordings’ reputation for delivering forward-thinking house that resonates with both underground tastemakers and mainstream selectors. The single-track focus highlights Larry Latenight’s capacity to craft a complete narrative within a limited framework, a skill also evident on the earlier LR002 release. For DJs, the record offers a versatile centerpiece: its driving rhythm and evolving texture can anchor a set or serve as a bridge between deeper, more atmospheric moments and high-energy peaks. Collectors will appreciate the blue vinyl as a visual cue of the release’s limited nature, while the track’s production quality ensures it will hold up under repeated play on club systems. The record is pressed as a 12-inch vinyl, featuring the distinctive blue colour that sets it apart in a crate. The format supports the warm, analog fidelity that house enthusiasts prize, and the single-track layout makes it a straightforward addition to any DJ’s vinyl collection.
