Within the Higher Hopes catalogue, Fiesta EP follows the 2022 “MALE TEARS EP” by Strapontin (HIGH002). The label’s recent trajectory shows a willingness to host both experimental techno and dancefloor-ready electro, and Salas’s entry reinforces that direction without deviating from the imprint’s aesthetic. Side A opens with “Darkest Dreams”, a track already proving its potency in Roza Terenzi’s sets. Its deep, hypnotic drive and accelerated tempo set a serious tone, establishing a groove that commands attention on the floor.
