About Release
Brooks Mosher – Don't Say Goodbye arrives on Dolly Records as DOLLY019, a 12-inch tech-house outing that promises a warm, club-ready vibe. The release showcases four strong cuts that blend dreamy sensuality with the kinetic pulse of modern techno, positioning the record as a potent tool for DJs seeking both groove and atmosphere.
Within Dolly’s bustling 2026 schedule, Don't Say Goodbye joins a cohort of same-day releases that underline the label’s diverse output. On the same day the label issued Basic Soul Unit’s “Wallow” (DOLLY027), Duplex’s “First Day Ep” (DOLLY016), Rosati’s “Chasing The Sun LP” (DOLLYTS18) and John Barera & Will Martin’s “Graceless” (DOLLY020), as well as Afik Naim’s “Songs For Tova” (DOLLY025). Earlier in the year Dolly delivered Jani Ho’s “Soul Mechanica” (DOLLYTS13), Juri Heidemann’s “Echo Mute” (DOLLYTS11) and Thanos Hana’s “Sliced Glitter, No Shampoo” (DOLLYTS16), framing Mosher’s EP among a series of forward-thinking dancefloor statements.
Side A opens with “Phoenixx”, a track that immediately establishes the release’s warm club feel. Its hypnotic rhythm invites a deep, body-to-body connection on the dancefloor, setting a tone that carries through the side. The follow-up, the title track “Don’t Say Goodbye”, deepens the sensual mood, offering a slightly more introspective groove that works well for late-night moments when the crowd is ready to lose themselves in the music.
Side B continues the journey with “Falling”, a cut that sustains the dreamy ambience while adding subtle tension, making it suitable for building momentum in a set. Closing the record, “Junebug” delivers a final, satisfying resolution, its rhythmic flow providing a smooth transition back to the DJ’s next selection.
In the context of Brooks Mosher’s output, this EP marks his third contribution to Dolly, reinforcing his reputation for crafting club-oriented tech-house that balances emotional depth with dancefloor drive. The record sits comfortably alongside Dolly’s other 2026 releases, each exploring different facets of underground electronic music while sharing a common emphasis on quality production and DJ-centric design.
For DJs, the four tracks offer versatile tools: “Phoenixx” and “Junebug” work as peak-time movers, while “Don’t Say Goodbye” and “Falling” excel in more intimate, twilight slots. The warm, sensual character of the cuts makes them particularly effective for sets that aim to blend rhythmic intensity with a feeling of release, encouraging both movement and immersion.
The release is pressed on 12-inch vinyl, matching the format expectations of collectors and DJs who value the tactile experience of analog playback. Its straightforward presentation respects the label’s aesthetic while delivering a solid, groove-focused listening experience.
