BORIS DLUGOSCH — Keep Pushin' 2026

Boris Dlugosch – Keep Pushin' 2026 opens the Peppermint Jam PJ333 12-inch vinyl with a fresh take on a house classic that has shaped club culture for three decades. The release celebrates the 30th anniversary of the 1996 anthem “Keep Pushin'”, originally voiced by Inaya Day and co-produced by Mousse T., now re-imagined for today’s dancefloors. Within Peppermint Jam’s 2026 output, PJ333 follows the earlier compilations Peppermint Jam Allstars Vol 7 (PJ330) and Mint Condition Vol 1 (PJ327), as well as the label’s ongoing partnership with Mousse T., whose “Horny (Remixes)” appeared on PJ297 in 2024. The continuity of high-calibre house revisions underscores the label’s commitment to both heritage and forward-looking club sounds. Side A launches with the Soul of Hex Remix, a reinterpretation that pushes the original groove into a darker, more hypnotic space, setting a tone that feels both reverent and contemporary. The second cut, the Purple Disco Maschine Vox Mix, injects a bright, disco-inflected sheen while preserving the vocal hook that made the original a dancefloor staple, creating a natural progression from the moody opening to a more uplifting climax. Side B revisits the deeper roots of the track. The DJ Disciple & Mousse T. Hard Dub strips back the arrangement to a stripped-down, dub-heavy version that emphasizes rhythmic swing and spacious texture, ideal for late-night mixing. Closing the record, the Path Of Dub Mix extends the dub aesthetic with a longer, echo-laden structure that offers DJs a versatile tool for building tension before a peak. For Boris Dlugosch, Keep Pushin' 2026 sits alongside the 2023 “Love For Days” on SWEAT IT OUT (SWEATA017V), marking a continued presence in the vinyl-oriented house scene. The new remixes and the revived B-side dub cuts illustrate how the artist’s catalogue can be both a nod to past successes and a platform for fresh reinterpretations, reinforcing the track’s relevance in contemporary underground sets. From a DJ’s perspective, the record delivers two distinct entry points: the Soul of Hex Remix and Purple Disco Maschine Vox Mix serve immediate peak-time energy, while the Hard Dub and Path Of Dub Mix provide deeper, more atmospheric options for transition or after-hours moments. Collectors will appreciate the inclusion of both new reinterpretations and the classic dub versions, making the 12-inch a well-rounded addition to any house-focused crate. The release arrives as a standard 12-inch vinyl, matching the format of the label’s recent outputs and offering the tactile experience prized by vinyl enthusiasts. Its four tracks span roughly twenty-four minutes, delivering a concise yet complete exploration of the original anthem’s possibilities.
