Skunk Mix is one of three legendary mixtapes recorded by 69db, alongside Fuck Techno Import and Fuck Le Pen Mix. Created spontaneously after his arrival in France in 1996, the live recording captures the raw energy of the emerging free party movement at the time, blending relentless 160 BPM tribal rhythms with influences from Chicago house and Detroit techno. Released on cassette in 1997, Skunk Mix became a sought-after underground classic, distributed and sold at teknivals and free parties throughout Europe.
